In this tutorial video one of our Roland Certified technicians will instruct you on how to perform a Limit Position Initialize on the VersaCamm VS Series. During the procedure you may run into an 'Unrecoverable Limit Sensor' error. The cause of this is an unlocked head during the 'Setting Up the Limit' part of the procedure. When locking your head into it's capping position, wait for a single click and let go of the head. If the head is able to move to the left after this, it is still unlocked and you will not be able to proceed.If the limit position is not correctly set, it may cause problems such as carriage lock and capping position errors. Also, if the cutting down position has not been properly set, you may have issues when performing a sheet cut. The Limit Initialization procedure can also remedy errors such as 0101 Limit Position Error and 0110 Linear Encoder Error. Only perform the Limit Position Initialize if you have been instructed to do so by a Roland Certified Technician.
