In this video I show you how to remove the rear view mirror. This procedure applies to most BMW's. If done incorrectly the windshield could be damaged. This is a relatively easy procedure when done correctly. This demonstration is performed on my BMW 3 Series E46. On an E46 Convertible the rear view mirror is also the pick up for the remote. Mirrors with the electrochromatic feature can sometimes fail causing it to darken or bubble which would require replacment.
