It’s easy to brush people off when they are trying to get your attention, and you know they are about to ask for something. Today I was walking out of the 99cents store and a man came up to me telling me that him and his wife are from Mexico and need some help. My family originated from Mexico 🇲🇽 so I instantly could relate to them. I told in Spanish that I had some money in the car is they needed it. He’s like ok thank you and followed me to my car. I had my iguana Chevy on my shoulder and he asked if it was real 🤣😝 I told him it was while I was digging in my center consul for some extra cash to give them. I had remembered the 10 dollars that was in there but something told me to give them the 2 twenty dollar bills that were also in there. I pull the 20 dollars out and hand it to him. He thanked me and said god bless you.
Not only did I feel good about myself because I knew I was helping both of them, but I felt amazed and blessed that I was ABLE to help.
